JUST IN: NFL Humiliated After Half-Empty Stadium Pictures Go Viral

Gateway Pundit

Several NFL stadiums are nearly empty post kick-off as the National Anthem controversy rolls into week 7.

Plenty of empty seats visible at the Hard Rock Stadium in Florida as the New York Jets play the Miami Dolphins.

“Swaths of empty seats here post kickoff,” tweeted columnist Armando Salguero.

The Cleveland Browns are playing at home against the Tennessee Titans. Plenty of empty seats to go around.

More empty seats in Chicago as the Bears play the Carolina Panthers.

Lucas Oil Stadium has “tons,” of empty seats during the Indiana Colts vs Jacksonville Jaguars.

If the NFL thought Americans would ease the backlash against the league — they were sadly mistaken. Photos of empty stadiums from around the league show how dire a situation kneelers have spurred. Stadiums were nearly empty in Week 6, as well.

Breitbart News reports:

Note, that the Jets played New England on Sunday, meaning there should have been a big crowd for that game. The Texans, Atlanta, and Baltimore are also very relevant teams with relatively loyal fan bases. Yet, thousands upon thousands of fans no-showed or didn’t buy tickets for those games.

Here’s a shot of the Jaguars stadium at kickoff:

Photos of empty stadiums comes amid a slew of disastrous polls shows how far the NFL’s popularity has dropped.

It’s common knowledge the left hates football and contact sports.

They have targeted football for years.

But now thanks to Roger Goodell their prayers are answered.

The NFL managed to pi$$ off their core audience by nearly 40 points in the last three weeks.

What about next year when people don’t buy tickets in advance and attend because they can’t get their money back? I wonder if TV will decide it just isn’t worth broadcasting anymore football.

Really? FOX Broadcasts all of the NFC games. Why would they front page a story that further reduces the marketability of a product they’re so heavily invested in.

It was true…I flipped on the games just to see how the boycott was coming along…Dallas vs Atlanta…marquee game..tons of empty seats…Houston vs LAR..same thing..well into both games. Flipped the channels and watched something else, happy
        Average player annual salary. $1,900,000
Average worth of NFL team owner $7,000,000,000
Roger Goodell salary request. $50,000,000 annually plus a private jet for life.

NFL prohibits freedom to express religious beliefs (by taking a knee…Tebow) but is ok with taking a knee to disrespect the flag and the national anthem.
Prohibits honoring fallen police officers, with a decal but is ok with Kapernik wearing “fuck the pigs, ” socks.
NFL has covered up, accepted sexual abuse, beating of women and children, drug abusers, electrocuting dogs, drug dealing, assault and murder.
Play in tax payer funded and subsidized stadiums, that the average family will never be able to afford to go to. $250.00 per ticket for a family of four $1,000??? Plus food and beverages? $1,200 four w family to watch a football game?? Really?
Tell me again about their right to protest “social injustice.”

They got plenty of support. It’s up to their government to distribute it. There are tons of other countries in Africa which are without food or clean water, but somehow you don’t seem to mention anything about them…

Trump and FEMA gave every Puerto Rican citizen $500 each….Food, water and other supplies have been giving to my people….The military is helping tremendously….Thanks Trump….If Obama or Hilary were president, thing could has been worse. Puerto Rico really was in bad shape before was hit by these two Huracán….and the bad politicians in Puerto Rico in the past and present (like the San Juan Major) are only there to steal our money and get rich….Trump has been the best thing this country has ever had…..

I’m not a regular football attendee at the games but I was wondering is it possible that many of the folks we see in the pictures at the games today purchased their tickets before hand and couldn’t get a refund???? Is it possible they are attending because they paid for them and were kind of stuck…..so it actually could get much, much worse for the NFL because these people may not be buying tickets again??

These are all terrible teams. New England, Green Bay, Dallas, Philly, Seattle all still sold out. You desperately want this to be true, meanwhile NFL owners still laughing all the way to bank. Nice try though. Cute effort.

Last night attended the Las Vegas Knights NHL game against St Louis and the place was sold out…and by the way, all the hockey players were standing with hands over their hearts when the National Anthem was played!
Then again hockey players are not paid nearly as much as NFL players and play strong for hours on end…

This racist sport has to be stopped! How many NFL players are from minorities like east asians and latinos? The blatant racial imbalance has to stop! Equality on the football field means equality in society. Proportional representation of all the races will make every part of American society equal and fair (erm somehow)

It does my heart good to see all of the red blooded Americans staying away from the NFL games. We all have to stick together against these anti-American, criminal, girl and child beating protesters. They only want to disrupt the American Values that we have. If they really cared they would Quit the NFL and stop being our entertainment. That’s all they are, Amusement for us to make fun of !!!

I hope Americans keep this up until the NFL gets their heads on straight! I think They THINK, this will go away, in time.
As for Puerto Rico, if they stop the lying rhetoric, by their own government and DEMAND they release the relief the US sent them, instead of them making this a political circus, to make Trump look bad, they would get the RELIEF THEY NEED! At any rate, the US owes Puerto Rico NOTHING, but out of the goodness of the current administration’s heart, they have been sent plenty of help!

Roger Goodell is a small reason why football is not being watched. The main reason is the crybabies that feel they need to disrespect the flag and kneel during the National Anthem while they are making millions. Everyone has a right to peaceful protest but not while you are at work…period and not towards our flag that represents the men and women who have fought for freedom. You the NFL players have ruined football and it will never be the same.

If the NFL wants to improve their ratings, simply have the kneelers and fist raisers play without helmets. I’d watch that.
