BREAKING: NFL Player To Angry Fans Who Are Boycotting Games: “BYE”

An entitled NFL player literally told fans who are angry that players are kneeling for the National Anthem that he doesn’t care if you show up. This is absolutely unacceptable, as it’s the FANS who made these over-hyped jocks millionaires in the first place!

Read this, but be warned, your blood will boil. (here’s the FB group event of thousands of Americans boycotting the NFL on Veteran’s Day)

NBC Sports reports:

Some fans have threatened to boycott the NFL over players’ protests during the national anthem. Titans tight end Delanie Walker has a message for them: Bye.

“First off, I’m going to say this: We’re not disrespecting the military, the men and woman that serve in the Army. That’s not what it’s all about,” Walker said, via Jason Wolf of The Tennessean. “. . . I’ve been in the USO. I support the troops. This is not about that. It’s about equal rights, and that’s all everyone is trying to show, is that we all care about each other.

“And the fans that don’t want to come to the game? I mean, OK. Bye. I mean, if you feel that’s something, we’re disrespecting you, don’t come to the game. You don’t have to. No one’s telling you to come to the game. It’s your freedom of choice to do that.”

The Titans were among three teams that skipped the national anthem Sunday after President Donald Trump’s tweets. The President has predicted a backlash against the NFL in the wake of the protests, which included dozens of NFL players taking a knee during the national anthem in Week 3.

““That’s their choice [not to watch],” cornerback Logan Ryan said. “That’s the beauty of this country. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion and everyone’s opinion is equal. So right, wrong or indifferent, that’s the beauty of this country — that everyone should have equal rights and equal opinions on what they want. If they don’t want to watch, that’s their choice. That’s perfect.”

The Titans, per Wolf, have not decided how to handle the national anthem this week.

SHARE if you think this guy is NUTS for saying this!

None of these players care. They’re still getting paid. If NFL owners started losing all their sponsors and in turn couldn’t AFFORD to pay these American hating douchebags? Heh they’ll be BEGGING us to comeback.

What made them decide to protest during the National Anthem in the first place….Why protest with the flag?? Seems like it’s a little strange, couldn’t they protest some other way?? Grow up football players…don’t dis the flag or National Anthem….

Because our previous president taught our society (especially our young and disadvantaged) to blame America when things do not go their way. That is what we are dealing with right now. It’s a ME culture. Had he done his job like I hoped he would when I voted for him, these players would be working with kids in the inner city. They would be teaching them how to stop killing each other at an alarming rates and how to comply when approached by law enforcement. This is where the concern should be for all of us in this country. Chicago has over 500 homicides already this year. The overwhelming majority of these homicides are gang and B on B related. That alone is something to protest. If we stand up to that, we need to do it on our own time in a place where people have not paid to attend. God Bless their cause but please do not give it to players who are not even smart enough to figure out if people do not attend or watch the money dries up. Lord be with the two mindless fools in this article.

Those players may think it’s not about “disrespecting the military, the men and woman that serve in the Army.” but they’re wrong. It has nothing to do with ‘equal rights’. When people have tried to teach them what respect & equal rights is all about & it embarrasses them so much that they refuse to listen, that’s their loss. The loss just might turn out to be a bit more than they expected. What a crying shame!

You are correct. More & more Americans are turning off the TV & not showing up. Football is the all AMERICAN sport but our country is being disgrased & made a laughing stalk. It won’t last. True Americans will shut it down. I hate not watching football but I will not disrespect my son. I was there when he was handed his fathers folded flag. I did those years as a military wife.

These overpaid,so called athletes, 75% 0f whom are black, are being paid more money than most black or white folk, could ever imagine. What are they protesting? These players have received scholarships to college, everything paid for, while the rest of the world, whites, blacks, etc. were not as fortunate.Years ago,and I speak from personal experience, the University I went to, gave the football players so much “more” than we lowly, paying students. They were allowed to get all the food they wanted, while we,paying $$ students, were only allowed to have “one” meal, period. These guys think they are gods because we pay them astronomical sums. This has to change.

      • YourFather

        October 4, 2017 at 3:23 pm

Ignorance is a horrid thing, especially in 2017. You think that they’re given scholarships?…Do you know just how much money they generate for colleges across America?…They generate tens of millions of dollars for athletic programs, and scholarships, that white children profit from greatly as well..The average NFL career is five years, and the average salary is 125K/Yr. The guys that do have long careers, are condemned to crippling arthritis, injuries, and what we see now in CTE…They owe you or no one else anything, and have given more than you or any other crybaby could ever hope to..Entitled? Absurd…They’ve earned everything that they have

        • Craig

          October 10, 2017 at 4:15 am

You sir are an ass hat they have earned nothing they are nothing more than over priced entertainment for us unentiteled people to watch. What happens when there are no more TV ratings and people stop buying NFL merchandise and the stands are less than half empty.
People care more about our country than the opinion of some entertainer because in reality that’s all sports stars are. They only have jobs as sports figures because the majority of us fans allow it.

      October 10, 2017 at 2:24 am

That’s the ticket, somehow they have forgotten that this “entitlist attitude” was a gift, I betcha if we the people don’t pay, you won’t play and maybe you’ll actually have to work for a normal wage like all of your EX fans.

Great short-term thinking that will destroy the NFL. Viewership of NFL games is down and sinking further. Millions of dollars are being lost each week. It’s on thing for players to take a knee, but soon the league will be on its knees. I haven’t watched any NFL this year and don’t plan to. I’m apparently not alone.

The players I have actually heard in interviews, are barely coherent in expressing themselves. My impression, they are being used as tools by the political movement in the country, trying to obliterate American values, our history. They have taken God out of most public functions, now they are said to be going to remove the anthem from being played at games. These players will destroy their very lucrative careers. I would never support any athlete or entertainer who disrespects our law enforcement or military on behalf of lawlessness! They are forcing the choice.

Back to the ” HOOD” to hang with their brotha’s! You don’t see them in the offseason running camp for poor underprivileged kids, their back with the peeps they grew up with and who are still having run ins with the law! I never robbed anyone, battered a woman, rioted or burned and looted and I’ve never been arrested and if a police officer every wanted to talk to be I wouldn’t run, point a gun at him or disrespect him!

And if we don’t come, the owners lose money, and in return, he will be with Kap, and the rest of the guys looking for a job. They are 1693 players in the NFL and millions of fans across the globe. Enough people stop watching, stop going and stop supporting this, it will end up being like the baseball strike back in the early 90’s. They overpaid athletes that wanna “protest” during the National Anthem, will be replaced with guys you actually care. It’s happened before. Remember!

Get over yourself. Our President was right and acting like a human being. One that isn’t speaking out of both sides of his mouth like most of the politicians out there today. These professional athletes now a days are SOBs. They are spoiled, self entitle, overpaid jerks who could care less about any cause. Now they’re kneeling for equal rights? Before they were kneeling for unity……oh wait….before that because cops are abusive to blacks…….oh wait because of oppression of blacks….whatever. If they are so concerned perhaps they ought to put their money where their mouth is. Trump said, and he is right that it is about respect for our flag and our national anthem. He is right. And seriously, a draft dodger? Were you in the military? Did you serve your country? I am old enough to remember the draft. He didn’t dodge anything.

It really is funny that everyone has a right to think and say what he/she feels except the President. President Trump is a business man who doesn’t usually put up with grippy stupid ball players who think their ass doesn’t stink. He’s not a polished politician who says everything in a rehearsed way so get over it. This guy says OK Bye, I think he has said exactly what we all knew they were feeling. You forgot the gold caps on the teeth and gold chain around neck the size of an anchor. Basically most of these black players in the NFL (70% of all players) I’d bet did not finish college (never intended to just wanted to get in NFL) and have shown that most, not all of them can barely spell their names and can NOT write a grammatically correct sentence. Thats right….F them. They have no idea that if enough people start writing to the sponsors of the games their $$$ will come to a halt…again F them.

Poor excuse!! All NFL players goto college … they are all educated … maybe it’s the brain damage or just their sense of self entitlement and they are just all 200-300+ pound damn babies and pussies.

  4. Joe Thompson

All you have to do is read this guy’s comment to see the players don’t have a clue to what they’re doing. Try “don’t bite the hand that feeds you”, “don’t remove your nose to spite your face”. This is war … customers on one side and entertainers on the other. Customers do not need entertainers, but entertainers need customers to stay in business. Your lack of total disrespect for our flag, the National Anthem, our law enforcement personnel and our military, who put their lives on the line daily to provide a safe environment for our families and you literally spit in their face. You are anti-America and my dollar will not go to support anti-Americans. I will only use my dollars for Americans.

Are you stupid, you all do have equal rights. If you didn’t then the NFL would only have white players idiot. You all do get equal rights. Keep this stuff up and the NFL won’t be paying you nothing because they won’t have the money because they lost all the fans because of your crap letting the liberal idiot media brain wash you. If it was up to Obama nobody would be able to go to the bathroom even in your on home without asking him or the government. Think about that and think about it hard and carefully.

No, no and NO. You say you’re not disrespecting this country? What is the symbol of this country? Red, white, and blue. The flag. Men, women and children have died defending it. You want to protest, go ahead. Everyone has the right to do that. Martin Luther King Was one of this country’s GREATEST leaders in terms of equal rights. He defended his people with the kind of conviction few others have ever been able to match. At no time did he ever take out his disagreements with America’s injustices out on the flag. He stood, proud, with his hand over his heart, while the National Anthem played and the flag of our forefathers waved.

I am one of the biggest fans of football around. I looked up to you guys. Wished I could’ve played pro.

Today, I’m mortified. Yes, this country has its problems. I’ll be the first one to say so. Pound for pound we live 10-100 times better here than most who do not. You want to complain? As athletes and celebrities, you already have a platform for voicing your grievances. As far as saying no one has to show up to your games? Who is it you think helps generate the revenue that keeps your stadiums open? If people decide to boycott the NFL on a large enough scale the NFL will be Not For Long. There was a time when baseball was America’s game. Football came along and that changed.

Are you prepared for being a part of that change when football falls from it’s throne? How many children who might have grown into football legends themselves be taught that football represent something other than America? When, in fact, the sport itself had nothing to do with it? Just like you taking the actions of a few Americans and trying to impart that to the whole of America. People will look at that NFL logo the same way they perceive you to be looking at “our” flag.

Hey, who am i? I’m just a fan. One of those people who apparently doesn’t matter. You guys already made your money after all. How many of you came from the poor side of town and made your dreams come true thanks to this great nation?

As famous athletes your podium is EVERYWHERE. You could schedule speaking engagements during the off-season. Get people behind you by explaining to them what you think is happening. Show examples. Mortality and arrest rates and percentages. You love this country and you stand for the American flag no matter what. Remember, you catch more bees with honey. You piss people off and no one is going to listen. If you thought someone was intentionally pissing you off, would you?

It is great he is being so noble. cough cough However, he and others like him, may change their tune when sales drop off that enable the salaries they make. The NFL is a business and without money and few fans, there will be no NFL. One important concept these players forgot was before presenting an argument make sure you know your audience. In order to persuade a group you have to know where they sit on certain issues and what is the best course of action to take in order to bring you to their side. Although we have not had the draft, many fans are ex-soldiers, parents of soldiers, siblings of soldiers or friends of soldiers. Many fans come from a time where showing respect for the Nation’s flag and it’s National Anthem is important. Many have received the flag as a thank you from the government for their loved one’s service and it is the one thing that reminds them of the sacrifice their loved one made whether the military, law enforcement, or other government entities such as firemen, emergency workers, etc. The fans perceive their act as a sign of disrespect for a country that has afforded the players a very nice life. The players intent was to bring to light the problems with some law enforcement officers overstepping their authority when it comes to African Americans. Unfortunately, in our society, it is perception that is recognized, rather than intent. Ask any employee who goes through anti-harassment classes.

Gotta’ Love it! I thought this nonsense would fizzle out months ago. But it hasn’t – and I’ve got emotionally caught up in it on the side of the athletes’. This guy – Walker – reflects the attitude I have had all along : If you love football we are here for you – but if your first iinterest is in something else – “Bye”. Sure – the government can make them knucke under – just by harassing them with IRS audits, increased police harassment, etc. but at the end of the day I think the flag-wavers will taste this as “sour grapes” . And as proven by Muhammed Ali: “If I can’t box in the USA – I can box somewhere else that appreciates the sport”. . Cities in Canada, Mexico, and throughout the western hemisphere would compete to Host NFL games for the benefit of the hotel and restaurant industries alone. If the NFL owners cave on this issue – what may be demanded of them next? The U.S. population should know to a certainty by now that our government screws up everything it gets its fingers into – and professional sports and the entertainment industry in general will be no exception..

    • Wanda Clark

      September 28, 2017 at 5:11 pm

According to you, since the government screws up everything it gets its fingers into, the government should stop subsidizing the NFL immediately. That happens to be millions of dollars. Hey I am with you there. Take that money from them and use it in the schools.

    • Janet fisher

      September 28, 2017 at 10:51 pm

I agree the football players have a right to protest but not on the field by disrespecting our flag our country can do aftera game but the fans would leaving first it was for blacks being oppressed and then cops killing blacks and then unity make up my mind what you are protesting for try protesting black killing blacks there are more white ppl killed by cops then blacks do you see us out there looting and burning now what ever

    September 28, 2017 at 4:20 am

To the NFL players who took a knee during the playing of the National Anthem.
So, you want to take a knee?
Take a trip to Valley Forge in January. Hold a musket ball in your fingers and imagine it piercing your flesh and breaking a bone or two. There won’t be a doctor or trainer to assist you until after the battle. Wait your turn while listening to the screams of pain from the wounded.
    Then take a knee.
Go to Normandy where man after American man stormed the beach, dodging dead bodies and withering machine gun fire,…the very sea stained with American blood. Imagine that your fellow players are your dead brothers in arms.
    Then take a knee.
Take a knee in the sweat soaked jungles of Vietnam. Over 60,000 Americans died in those jungles. There was no playbook or million dollar contracts for doing your job, but they understood what our flag represented. When they came home, they were protested by their fellow Americans.
Then take a knee while they spit on you.
Take another knee in the blood drenched sands of Fallujah in 110 degree heat..Trade in your pads for a Kevlar helmet and battle dress…You’ll have to stay hydrated, but there won’t be anyone to squirt Gatorade into your mouth. And watch out for those IEDs when you take a knee.
There’s a lot of places to take a knee. Americans have given their lives all over the world. When you use the banner under which they fought as a source for your protest, you dishonor the memories of those who bled for the very freedoms you have. That’s what the red stripes mean. It represents the blood of those who spilled it defending your liberty.
So while you’re on your knee, pray for those that came before you, not on manicured fields striped and printed with numbers to announce every inch of game yardage…but on nameless hills and bloodied beaches and sweltering forests and bitter cold mountains…every inch marked by an American life lost serving that flag you protest.
No cheerleaders, no announcers, no coaches, no fans…just American men and women on the land, air, and sea, delivering the real fight against those who chose to harm you would have the opportunity to dishonor their service by “taking a knee.”
You have no clue what it took to get you where you are…but your “protest” is duly noted. Not only is it disgraceful to a nation, it points to your ingratitude for those who chose to defend you under that banner that will still wave long after your stats and game jersey are forgotten…
If you really feel the need to take a knee, come with me to church on Sunday and we’ll both kneel before Almighty God. We’ll thank Him for preserving this country for as long as He has. We’ll beg forgiveness for both of our ingratitude for all He has provided us. We’ll appeal to Him for understanding and wisdom. We’ll pray for liberty and justice for all…because He is the one who provides those things.
But no protesting allowed. There will only be gratitude for His provision and a plea for His continued grace and mercy on the land of the free and the home of the brave.
May He continue to bless America, the ignorant and selfish sinners we all are. What an incredible gift He has given us!

  26. Evelyn Keiser

    September 28, 2017 at 4:39 am

I agree 100 % but the military does not have the resources that the NFL does. Maybe if the fans ticket price, in part would go to the Military it would help. The Military could go out and get more sponsors.
Yes, it is so unfair that those who lay down their lives for us are not treated like the real heroes they are.

  27. Sandi

    September 28, 2017 at 4:40 am

Bye to you … your group chose the wrong way to protest your grievances. Not using the flag and the anthem of this country. 28. Thomas A Henricksen

    September 28, 2017 at 4:41 am

One thing for sure: having worked in 30 countries and lived in 5 or 6 countries, I hwve worked with people of all races. There is absolutely no difference in the races, only differences in cultures, religions, and governments. The flag of the United States exclusively represents respect for the men and women of the military who have served to protect the freedoms of the United States for the last 240 years – this is not something political. The flag seemingly has become a symbol of the “American way”, but this NOT what the flag represents. No free American citizen should have resentment for the flag – there is absolutely nothing racial to consider. Racism something carried out by misguided people of various races.

  29. Christine Scialfa

    September 28, 2017 at 4:47 am

YOU SAY We’re not disrespecting the military, the men, and women that serve in the Army. That’s not what it’s all about,” Yes that IS what you are doing when you do not stand and respect the flag during the National Anthem. you say: It’s about equal rights, and that’s all everyone is trying to show, is that we all care about each other.
I and many Believe you all have equal rights, but you all are so used to playing the victim you don’t see how privileged you are. You live in a free country that allows you to be whatever you work for (YOU do make millions) Why we even had a black president, black senators, Teachers, Doctors Etc. If you want to help the poor. Then show it somewhere else like, How about doing something for your community. Teach young blacks to respect themselves, Be a good role model for them. Teach them something good and maybe pay for them to go to college if they prove their worth instead of being, thugs, that kill each other and police, and when they resist arrest they get killed. Then the race baiters who get paid tons to keep blacks victims come along, and start the hate and blame in the police.
If the NFL players would take a poor neighborhood of their choice and start teaching other Blacks how to be a role model maybe they will not become thugs. The Red on the flag represents to the blood shed by our military so you can make millions in a free country. Go to a National Cemetery to see who fought for your freedom.

Pretty cavalier attitude to take towards the people providing his paycheck. There’s a time and place to protest, but you don’t protest another group of people to make your protest known, especially when a large number of the other group have died to give you the right to protest. That’s what the flag stands for. I’m sure these arrogant pricks will claim discrimination when they can’t get jobs after they completely wreck the NFL.

As for equal opportunity, rights, and so on, well dang, put me at the head of your self aggrandized line. I’d love to have all the millions, privileges, get-out-of-jail-free passes you obnoxious athletes get when beat your wives/girlfriends, overindulge in drugs, and squander your wealth. I’ve worked extremely hard, very long hours, earned post secondary degrees while raising kids and seeing them in all their activities, for the tiniest fraction of your pay. Neither my friends nor I are celebrities, we and are all worrying about our retirement years. Please let me be equal on par with you professional athletes. I will certainly manage that income carefully to have a safe future and have plenty to spend doing something about the injustices in this country. I mean, put my money where my mouth is , instead of being a jackass on tv every Sunday, stirring up trouble and hating the country that gave me the opportunity to come from nothing/poverty/trash to a multimillionaire at a young age. Its all about you and what you can TAKE.

Ok, the players are using a national stage that Fans don’t have access to. If the players want to protest then do it on their own time and in the streets where they would be afforded the same opportunity to be arrested. Now That’s equality.

    About that t-shirt.

Things do not happen in a vacuum. I STRONGLY believe that there is a correlation, and a CAUSATION, to the fact that there has not been an armed conflict on this country since we began playing football in this country.

I believe that the fact that we have men defending a football is one of the main reasons that we don’t need more men defending the country.

Furthermore, since the men defending the country are paid solely out of taxdollars, that would mean a huge tax increase to pay them the level that you feel is commiserate

For the uneducated players in the NFL let me let you in on a little secret. If no one shows up to your games and pay for seats food beer soda jerseys and the rest of your apparel. YOUR salaries will be a lot less or the owners will get rid of you because the NFL can not and will not take such a hit. They are in this to make money not to lose money. So with that said I think we will just keep Boycotting and let’s see if we can bankrupt the NFL and teach these uneducated players that we the people don’t need to watch them any more. But I guess they need to learn the hard way. Remember this Mr. Walker you need us we don’t need you. That’s the difference that you just don’t understand and something else you don’t understand is our government will be taking away the 7 Billion dollars that we the people give you to up grade your stadiums. I don’t know about you but that’s a lot of money. But hey if you think the American people arent serious well youll see.

Also you say this isn’t about hate well the 49er player loves Fidel Castro, and Hates Cops he started kneeling with Hate so you guys jumped aboard with same message. So yea you are promoting hate.

I got one question for you so NFL have been protesting for a year. What has changed to help your cause?? But I can tell you that since 1/20/17 there has been no unlawful deaths dealing with blacks and cops so all this crap happened on Obama watch. But you still protest even though their has not been an unlawful killing yet this year. So good luck you Ignorant uneducated NFL.

  74. RealTechZen

    September 28, 2017 at 3:04 pm

Colin Kaepernick’s stated original reason for his protest is based on false narratives unsupported by facts – AKA lies – and he called for the “deconstruction of this nation”. All of the others have either been in support of that clearly anti-American position or as knee-jerk reactions without understanding Kaepernick’s stated reasons and goal.
Courts have ruled repeatedly that Constitutional rights have no bearing on a persons right to speak out in the workplace in opposition to the employers’ best interests. This isn’t about Constitutional rights. It’s about Team and League policies, nothing more.

What he is wrong on is even though Kneeling for the National Anthem or refusing to stand for Our Nations Flag was not “intended” to be disrespectful a majority of Americans believe it IS DISRESPECTFUL. And once its been pointed out about the Disrespect the players had the CHOICE to change the way they are protesting in a way to make it Respectful. To continue in this manner now is the blatant finger up.. Screw you your Respect does not matter. In return we the fans can boycott NFL football and again he is right that is our Right but the big difference being though a boycott is we thd fans still remain respectful. Im hoping people actually STAND up for Respect and walk out at make the NFL know their are NO Fans LEFT because they allowed such disrespect to continue.

  92. Timothy Soule

    September 28, 2017 at 7:38 pm

You people are so ignorant. You clearly don’t understand what equality means of you think that because they are professional athletes, they’ve given up the right to complain about inequality.

If we all sit down to dinner, and the food comes out for all of us, but not for you, you would complain. If you say ‘But I’m hungry, and I deserve to eat ‘ how would you feel if we all responded ‘were all hungry and we all deserve to eat’?

That’s the equivalent of your racist all lives matter movement. Yes, we all deserve to eat. But, the rest of us are eating and you haven’t gotten your food. Does ‘We all deserve to eat’ solve your problem? Of course not.

Then you say rich blacks don’t deserve to protest. But when poor blacks protest, you run them over with your car. So, which black people have the right to protest?

You say they van protest but they’re doing it wrong. Well, they tried a march, and you ran them over. They tried a rally, but you condemn them all for the few that became violent. You even ignored it when we elected a black president who spoke against it, and you responded with images of Obama dolls being hung from trees by a noose, and burning them.

Now they’re taking a knee, quietly, and without hurting anybody.

You’re not angry about how they are protesting at all. That is just your b******* validation of your ignorant racist mentality trying to find any way you can to shut down the equality movement because it is against your interests, because you enjoy the privilege of being able to discriminate and segregate.

Get on both knees and take this so called problem to the Lord in prayer. It should have been long ago. But you turn from God and look toward man for problem solving…not gonna happen with man generated issues. God will heal and has the solution for any issues both private and public. Unbelievers cling to man for problem solving. Believers turn to God and our Lord and Savior for problem solving.

Many of these players really do not understand the issue here. While it is true they are protesting what they see as a violations of their civil rights
in America, the issue at stake here is that they are doing this by disrespecting the flag, the Anthem, and our military including our vets.
No one is denying their right to “take a knee”, but they must realize what they are really doing. To disrespect our flag and military, especially on foreign soil.
is not part of their civil rights. Rather it is an offense against the country.
So, protest all you want in trying to better your treatment by your fellow americans, but please realize that their are consequences with regard
to how you accomplish this. Keep disrespecting our flag and military and you will soon be playing in front of empty or near empty stadiums and
your wallets will begin to shrinks. No threats intended here. Just want to make sure you realize the cost of protesting the way you are instead
of taking up the issue in a more civil and hopefully successful manner.

I have zero problems with the players being indifferent towards people boycotting the NFL. I wouldn’t expect the players to beg the audience to change their minds or for them to change their platform to make the audience happy. They have the right to be indifferent the same as I have the right to choose not to support the NFL if I disagree with what they stand for. Quite frankly, my dislike for the NFL started over a decade ago and I have similar feelings towards the entertainment and sports businesses in this country. It has nothing to do with race and everything to do with socio-economic factors. This country puts athetes of certain sports and stars of Hollywood on higher platforms than the president- higher platforms than God (if you will)- and that means our priorities are ass backwards.

Excuse my ignorance, but exactly WHAT rights do I (A white person) have that Blacks don’t? If it wasn’t for football, half these clowns would be incarcerated by now. MAYBE White NFL fans should say nothing about their “protests” and let them just hang themselves. We won’t buy anymore tickets to see a game played in an over priced, taxpayer funded stadium while we stand in line for way overpriced beer and snacks. To hell with them. There is a time and a place to protest whatever the hell you want. Just not during the National Anthem. That’s just tacky and low rent. Kapernick was raised by white folks and never wanted or needed for anything. He’s made millions. And he feels oppressed? Personally, I think too many people enjoy and need to constantly play the “victim”. You can only suck a tit for so long before it runs dry.

He’s wrong about opinions being equal. Yes, everyone has the same right to express their opinion. But that does NOT make all opinions equal, as he stated. For example, the opinion that women should not vote is not equal to the opinion that women should be allowed to vote. The opinion that girl’s labia should be cut off (female castration, practiced by many Muslims) is not equal to the opinion that they should not be cut off. The opinion that you should grab a woman by her pussy is not equal to the opinion that they should not be. The opinion that the earth is 6.000 years old is not equal to the opinion that it is 4.5 billion years old. And so on and so on.

Sure you don’t care if fans show up but you will care when you see a drop in pay because decreased merchandise sales. You will care when the stadiums are run down because of a funding pull. You will care when sponsor drop you. All of these things are directly related to the fans. All your pay is directly related to the fans. Sure don’t care. We don’t care that you are blind to who puts out the one for your check. The majority of NFL fans are ticked at this. You may not have intentionally disrespected our flag military and nation but that is what was perceived and perception matter more than intent. The road to hell is paved with good intentions. As for equal rights what about our rights as fans to have on (just one) politically free venue in sports? What about the equal rights of the victims of a NFL players abuse and rape? You want to talk equal rights? Practice what you preach and then we will talk. Further more if we can’t protest on the job you can’t either, how is that for equal rights?

The issue is not Freedoms of speech, or expression etc by employees of corporations who sell a popular product to a large consumer group. This product is what gathers people, cutomers from all sectors of life and every political spectrum and was meant for a period of respite for everyone and except for team preferences, all other outside animosities were set aside so as to focus in on the product, the product in this case is the game of football, the players are not the product, but rather they are highly paid employees.
When did it become the right thing to do, to berate, criticize, demean and mock and outright offend specific customers?
Generally, good companies did not want to puposely offend any customer and in fact made it a policy to say that “The customer is always right” and went out of their way to correct a wrong and offer apologies for the offence. Whenever a Company, or place of business would not appease the consumer by making it right, or ease the tension, then people would often times boycott that business.
These employees(Players, Coaching staff) need to reminded that they are not the focus, nor are they the product that is being sold, but that they are simply an employee representing the product of Football!

This guy is forgetting just how many Americans walked away from Major League Baseball after the 1981 players strike. Lifelong fans (like myself) used to watch ‘ball’ on TV and in the stadiums ‘All the time’ just like diehards NFL fans of today. For every member of a generation that walks away from a particular spectator sport – the long term ramifications are that the fan also stops including their children in previous fan’s passion – it is no longer a family tradition to say “Let’s go watch the game.” Frankly – this guy’s CTE is showing – simple one too many concussions.

Don’t pretend to be dumb, its unattractive it embarrasses us For You. Its simple really, not a complicated issue at all. You want to protest, we were merely looking for a few hours escape. You will loose money, we will save money. No one questions your rights or motives, just your timing really sucks! You could have chosen countless venues to protest, but you had to choose and ruin the only free time some Americans actually have, (like those with real jobs that work for a living)…and those serving their country by dodging bullets, literally. It no longer matters to us what you think, feel, or have to say. We no longer care and burned your ‘stuff’ and moved on. We warned you, we Asked you, we gave suggestions, and you ignored us. So now… the *price* falls on you. Enjoy your careers, they just got a lil shorter…

I just want to know, is there a clause in every players contract about standing for the national anthem? If there is, then each player is breaking their contract by doing anything but standing for the national anthem, including staying in the locker room or tunnel. Why are there no fines being levied against the players?

Shows you exactly his intelligence.True Americans take anything against the Flag or our countrys national anthem very serious. If the intellect was there with any of these brain suffering idiots, then they would understand this. People really need to do more research on the mental problems that all football players face. I think it’s so sad.The evidence of this is present because it’s the only thing constent in there Fuck up brains that stays the same year after year. There to retarded to come up with something that would really make a change. There just stupid and now that everyone knows…well we need to do get them mental help.

Blab blab blab….. Cry me a river. If you can’t support what the players feel is an issue that needs to be addressed and you find their protest offensive….BYE!

If someone jumps on the field & open fire with a AK47.Does it matter what his motive is?It’s disruptive to the game.
Protest before or after the Anthem.
If the knee taking doesn’t stop, just stop playing the Anthem, then no one can disrespectd it.PERIOD!! : (

STFU They make money for the owners… There’s never a good time for a protest of the system for black citizens according to Caucasians. Caucasians are fine with police brutality upon black bodies. There must be a economic boycott and keep the pressure on.

As I have told Paul Allen, Seahawk Headquarters, Seattle’s Mayor, and the rest of our elected officials in Washington State, the Seattle Seahawks represent the City of Seattle, King County, and the State of Washington. They are supported by tax dollars collected all over the state, even though many of our residents did not vote to have their taxes increased to support dollars and tax exemptions given to the Seahawks. THEREFORE, THEY REPRESENT ALL OF THE CITIZENS OF WASHINGTON STATE, AND THAT INCLUDES Whidbey Island Naval Air Station, Bangor Trident Submarine Base, Bremerton Ship Yards, Coast Guard Base Seattle, Joint Base Lewis/McChord, Fairchild Air Force Base, and the list goes on!!! These over-priced athletes have INDIVIDUAL RIGHTS like all the rest of us. Take the damn uniform off and protest all you want, but do not do it while representing ME, because you don’t represent me. I was brought up to respect those who fought and shed their blood for my rights. VERY, VERY FEW of these athletes have spent 1 day serving our country to protect those rights that are guaranteed to them by OUR FLAG, OUR ANTHEM, AND OUR EMBLEMS OF FREEDOM. How does it work in your state?? (For clarification, I was in the Kingdom seat during the “blackout” games, and these athletes probably don’t now what that even means!!!! PO’d in Seattle
